Hyatt Place Roanoke Airport/Valley View Mall

The room was perfectly fine, however the hotel needs more staff. There was no front desk attendant because they were driving the shuttle. Everything went well once they returned but it was surprising there was no one at front desk for check-in.

Room was huge, really nice and modern with wood floors, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, and location was great. I almost didn't stay here because I was worried after reading previous reviews but glad I did anyway because I didn't have any of those issues. Only issue to note is that the pool is closed (seemingly long term)

For a hotel by the airport this place is a 5 star room was spacious and clean. Good size towels. We are on the road quite a lot and this hotel was refreshing for the price range, well worth it!

Good location tucked just off the highway, but not too loud from it either. Right next to the mall. Very good service especially from front desk and kitchen crew (Ms. Peggy was nice to talk with). Room decoration and amenities were impressive. Wasn’t the biggest fan of the couch since it was pretty firm. Wish there was an overhead light in the room. Complimentary breakfast was very good both days I was there, it seemed the the kitchen made a few of the items fresh and it was a great start to the day. Price was pretty reasonable too. I’d stay here again next time I’m around.

Reading the various reviews relating to mold, I was really surprised as I didn't have that experience at all. My room was very clean, and extremely spacious. It had an awesome separate seating area with an enormous TV where I sadly had to watch my beloved Pacers lose game 7 of the NBA Finals. The bed was comfy, bathroom was clean, and the shower had good pressure/temperature. Breakfast was delicious. The highlight was the monkey bread! Overall service was meh, nobody seemed overly friendly, but that didn't detract from the quality of this hotel. I would definitely return when in Roanoke.

The woman at the front desk durning my stay 1/19-1/22, was awesome. She was like the only one working in the evening and she's doing awesome. Made my food to-go and checked people in while answering the phone give that girl a riase. Food is decent, rooms are clean and nice, prices aren't bad, breakfast is good and clean, wifi isn't spotty. Good place. Only issue was the sink not draining properly, MINOR inconvenience. Will stay here again

Great customer service. Good breakfast. Paid member price for a king plus (or something like that). But not sure what was plus about it. The mini fridge is truly MINI. No Starbucks kiosk here, but they did have a long list of walkable restaurants that made out night easier. Not a fan of waking to weed, but thats other people not the hotel.

Enjoyed my stay. Room includes a small microwave, coffee maker, sink, and small fridge. This Hyatt Place provided a small snack upon check-in, and breakfast also included tortilla, shredded cheese, and salsa (to make breakfast burritos) which was great! Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. Highly recommend!
